Jeff Coleman's experience in 3D printing dates back to the early 2000's, when he began to see the technology as ripe for conversion to direct consumer manufacturing.
After acquiring fluency with the technology he cofounded Terra Cotta Personal Fabricators in 2006, a design and consulting firm specialising in direct manufacturing. Innovatively, some of the company's products are sold under a pay-what-you-want model, and today those products top lists of both sales and profits, countering the "common wisdom" regarding intellectual property.
As of 2014, Jeff has reduced his involvement in the day-to-day operations of Terra Cotta to focus on his growing work in crypto tech consulting.
